Tell Me Something True
CLICK HERE FOR THE CURRENT QUESTION!!!
What is it?
A simple and light-hearted writing meme.
One question per week to help us get to know each other better.
How does it work?
You answer the question in as many or as few words as you wish. Use it as a jumping off point, fodder for a story, inspiration for a poem. Go into detail. Or don’t. Go sexy. Or don’t. Be sure to link-up, read others’ entries, comment, and share on social media! #tellmesomethingtrue
When will it occur?
Questions will be released on Sundays. Link-ups will remain open until the following Sunday when the next question goes live. Usually noon to noon PST.
Upcoming Prompts:
I’ll be using Arthur Aron’s famous “36 Questions.”
May 9: Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to
say? Why?
May 16: Since we already covered our Perfect Day in another prompt, we’ll be moving on to — When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?
May 23: If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body
of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want?
May 30: Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?
Rules.
Be nice to others. Be respectful. (This is a safe space for people to be themselves, as long as everything shared is consensual and legal.)
You must be 18 to play.
