Perhaps when we find ourselves wanting everything, it is because we are dangerously close to wanting nothing. Sylvia Plath I can’t remember when I fell for Plath. Probably sometime in college. This was a time when I was coming to terms with my own “creative madness,” and I’m sure I felt some measure of connection with the yearning, confusion, and imbalance of Plath’s poetry. Welcome to February Photofest 2022! I’m excited to share some of my favorite books and authors through this process. I’ve already got photos for this first week lined up…I think this is the first time I’ve been this prepared for the challenge.
