Uncomfortable
I share a lot of images of myself on this site. But, it often makes me uncomfortable to really show myself as I am. The lumps and bumps. The saggy mom-tummy. The gravitational pull on my breasts. The stretch marks. The cellulite. The rolls. The extra skin. In fact…all the “extra” that I wish wasn’t there.
But…it is.
And, every once in a great while, I share that truth in the images I post.
Today is one of those days.
Be kind. I’m reminding myself to do that, as well.

very brave. although in my opinion you didn’t have to be so. Brigit, we are all in this together (growing older, surviving what the world throws at us, staying as sensuous as we can), I see a strong woman that has grown with life into a loving human that is very attractive.

Thank you, JerBear. Some days I am more at peace with it than others. Aging in the world of sexblogging can be especially difficult. Being surrounded by “perfect” sexy people with seemingly perfect and adventurous sex lives sets an impossible bar. And I must remind myself on a regular basis that there are real folks out here, too. It’s why I tend to read the blogs I do. I like to see and know real people having real sex lives.
