I have not had much to say in response to the prompts for the past few days. I’ve basically been a lump of laziness.

Covid has taken a giant rude shit on our holiday plans (we’re all perfectly healthy even though the young one has tested positive with a breakthrough infection). So now we are doing solstice, my birthday, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s at home on our own.

Good thing we like each other and are, for the most part, happy introverts. 😊

I don’t have to quarantine, because I’m vaccinated, but I still won’t risk exposing anyone by attending any festivities. A run or two to the store, but otherwise, I will be spending the next weeks in pajamas, day drinking and reading books.

Oh darn.

Currently, I am reading:

And I am just about to my year’s reading goal.

Hopefully, with all this time stuck at home, I’ll find plenty of motivation to write, too.

Anyhow, without the need to really get dressed, there isn’t much need to wear a bra, so no matched set for #UnwrapMe today.

Everything is easily accessible. And while we haven’t jumped back in the sack…the lines of communication are open and discussions have commenced.

Since, I haven’t posted the last couple of days, here are the last few sets:

And this morning, before I got into clean jammies:

    I like the blue set.

I set a very low (low for me) reading goal this year because last year (2020) my reading slowed way down. But I ended up not only beating my reading goal early this year, but also reading more books than I did in 2020. Which was unexpected.

I’m sorry you’re having to navigate around COVID this holiday season. It sounds like no one has “sick” symptoms though, so that is a Good Thing. And at least there is no school right now, right? So neither you nor the kiddo will fall behind. (Silver linings!)

Happy Solstice. Cheers to (literally) brighter days ahead! 🙂

Thankfully symptoms only lasted a few days, and everyone will be out of Covid jail in time to go back to school and work by the 3rd.

I’m currently reading The Imvisible Life of Addie Larue, based on someone’s Best Book of 2021 suggestion. What was the best book you read last year?

Mine was either The Lost Love Song by Minnie Darke, Meet Me in Paradise by Libby Hubscher, or It Had to Be You by Georgia Clarke. They all have terrible covers and look like cheesy romances. But they were all very good stories and remained memorable.

Yes, I have enjoyed doing these. They are low pressure and I don’t have to come up with photo ideas, since the idea is simply the lingerie. I’ll do these periodically going forward, but at much wider intervals. Daily was tough to keep up, and I couldn’t possibly afford that much lingerie!!
