Like lyrics we’ve heard a million times, we find the parts we know by heart, and sing out loud, our bodies and voices increasing in volume.
We revel in these moments.
And when we hit the parts we’re unsure of, we mumble our way through, hum, or make up the words, until we circle our way back to the chorus.
We’ve yet to stop singing, because this is our song.
