Erotic Journal Challenge

Explore your inhibitions

This week’s #EroticJournalChallenge prompt is:

Explore your inhibitions…

What were the first taboos or rules regarding sex/sexuality that you learned? What negative messages attached to sex have you encountered and absorbed? Have you ever felt guilt or shame, nervousness or apprehension about sex or desire? What experiences have you had that have either created or released your inhibitions? If you feel sexually inhibited in some way…where do you think those inhibitions come from? How can you let them go? Is there anything positive about having sexual inhibitions?

NOTE: Please take a moment to read the rules. The Erotic Journal Challenge encourages writers to really dig deep and share some pretty personal stuff. So I want everyone to know that they are welcome and that this is a judgement-free zone. All writers are safe to share their beliefs and experiences. Journaling is a way to learn and grow and question and change, and we should all feel safe to explore ourselves with fear.

Note: You don’t have to follow the prompt. If you have an introspective, reflective post that you want to share, it can be about any topic…or no topic at all.

Highlighted Post from the last prompt: “Theory & Practice” from Mòrag’s Musings

“I discovered that I liked getting my boobs touched I also discovered that when I was enjoying getting my boobs touched, I also got quite moist between my legs. I soon discovered that I didn’t need someone else touching my boobs for this to happen, I could do it to myself and, when I ultimately reached down to examine more closely what the effects of my boob play were having down there, I discovered that I definitely liked touching myself down there. Not too long after that, “The Girl” would help me discover that I really liked it when someone else touched me down there and that was where the theory began to turn into practice.”
