He texted me at 2 pm with:
I am really fucking horny and I want you
And the conversation, though short, built from there:
Me: Oh…well then (blushing face emoji)
Him: Sitting on the couch with a hard on sucks
Me: Oh…are you home already?
Me: I might need you to take kiddo to practice. Not sure how long my pedicure will take, but I will gladly fuck you when he is at practice (various kissy face emojis and hearts)
A few more texts about dinner and drop off times follow, because as a parent, that stuff has a tendency to infiltrate everything, even when you’re trying to be sexy.
As any parent can attest, getting time alone can be nearly impossible when your kids are old enough to not need naps and too young to drive.
Our son is basically at that age where he’s always underfoot and is now old enough to be aware of what is going on – capable of understanding, hearing, and being completely grossed out by his parents’ love life.
The pandemic has especially made this hard.
Before this hit, we usually had him stay with a grandparents on Fridays, but since Covid, he’s preferred to be home, and we’ve preferred to protect our aging parents.
However, it’s putting a major damper on our sex life.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I could make noise during sex, until this afternoon. But somehow, the planets aligned and Mr. D was off work early enough to take our son to soccer practice, and I was off work early enough to meet him at home after.
We took advantage of our childless afternoon and had loud, messy, rowdy sex…for about 10 minutes.
It was quick, but hot.
I guess that’s what happens when you’ve been keeping that stifled for so long.
And, of course, we still had to fit in time to grab take-out and pick up the kiddo from practice.
But, hey. We managed. And it’s honestly something we need to try to do more often. For parents with kids in the middle, like us, taking advantage of those little bits of time is essential to keeping the thrill alive.
