Join me in a (re)discovery of submission
Now that I have completed The Submissive Advent Calendar, I’m motivated to continue with Luna Caruthers’ Submissive Reflection: A Journey of Rediscovery and Affirmation.
I would love for you to join me and add to the conversation. Sometimes discussing the issues can make them so much more clear and can bring up perspectives we maybe would have overlooked otherwise.
You can purchase the guide at the link above and at Amazon. I’m planning to read a chapter each weekend and then write about some of the topics that grab me during the week.
This book is appropriate for anyone interested in dedicating or re-dedicating themselves to submission, newbies and long-timers alike. Each chapter consists of several articles and reflection activities, so it’s a good idea to set aside a few hours to work through it all. Depending on your own situation, I’m sure different topics and concepts will appeal to you. Work through it the way that works best for you, and then feel free to comment on any of my book-related posts or link up your own responses/posts so I can check in on what you have to say and keep the conversation going. That is, after all, what originally made blogging so popular – the community aspect.
I look forward to the discussion!
Chapter: December 28/29
Reflection Posts: December 30-January 4
Discussion: Ongoing via post comments and link-sharing

I really love that you’re doing this. I found the advent calendar to be a good task. I hope this one is too 🙂

Yes, I find that I do a better job of keeping my submission at the forefront of my mind when I am actively reflecting on it and writing about it. But I’m terrible about coming up with prompts for writing, because I feel I’ve already covered it all. Something like this spurs the well of creativity and gives me new perspective…new questions and new ways of looking at it. Are you doing it?
