This month’s Sinful Sunday prompt pushed me a bit. It took me quite a few hours to choose the film, and even longer to select the image. And then…adapting it to film poster style…well, that was the hardest part. But, I’m reasonably happy with the end result. And now, I’m a bit inspired to go back and read the book (which is, as we all know, always better than the movie — though this one wasn’t completely terrible).

This looks really sexy Brigit. I havenβt seen the film but I love what you have done with the image to change it like this. Very clever π
Thanks, missy!
I absolutely could see that as the film poster, I think you’ve done really well. The sepia edit looks great too.
Thank you!
Magnificent! I could easily see this as a poster for a film! Great job.
Thanks!
Nice work, Brigit. Wow, I’m impressed.
Thank you, Elliott!
This is brilliant Brigit… I love the image and the edit you have done is just perfect

Thank you, Molly!
Wow, this is really well done! I love it!
Thanks, DS!
Love how you re-interpreted a classic. xoxo
Thanks, Francesca! It’s been many years since I watched it, but I had the photo and I couldn’t imagine which film it would best match. This is the first one that seemed to work.
Absolutely brilliant image! I want to see this movie π

It’s a bit old, and I’m sure it didn’t fair well with the critics, but I was obsessed with Nin and Miller in college, so I owned the video. This is my sort of “porn.” Gets me riled every time.
I was definitely convinced that this could have been from a movie. The angle of this picture is really nice. It shows naked vulnerability but doesnβt show nudity at the same time, in some way. Itβs artsy and the edit you did, the colour and the way you added the text truly turned it into a poster esque picture.
Why, thank you! That was everything I was going for!
