Hello, June…we meet again…

(I’m having that annoying “I can’t upload images to wordpress” problem again. I’m tired of fucking with it tonight…so I’ll give it another go tomorrow. But for now…there just ins’t going to be a featured image on this post.)

June is the month my life typically begins to slow down. And, seriously, it’s about damn time.

Shifting, literally overnight, from one platform to another to get my job done has been a monumental task. One that I’ve managed to do successfully enough, but I am not going to miss sitting in a chair for the majority of my day, staring at a screen.

I’m praying that September looks different, but even if it doesn’t, I’ve got a few months to relax, let it go, and gear up for another round.

With the downshift in work, I’m hoping to have more energy and, hence, more inspiration for writing. In an effort to motivate myself, I’m once again committing to Hyacinth Jones’s “Every Damn Day in June.”
