When I set out this year, I came up with my Core Desired Feelings…the ways I wanted to feel as often as possible, so I could prioritize activities that made me feel those ways in my schedule. It’s definitely a different sort of planning. But I only choose 3 to 5 words, because more than that is impossible to keep up with, and it doesn’t encourage me to focus (which I am woefully in need of help with). To open it up, I’ve made the Erotic Journal Challenge themes this year a set of words that didn’t quite make my list. These are ways I want to feel each day…or at least as often as possible. I dont want to neglect these parts of myself.  January’s theme was mindful, which is actually my main word for the year and one of the words that made the cut for my shortlist. February’s is, too.

It’s the month of love, so this month, let’s open things up to the topics of sensuality (sensual) and sexuality (sexual). It’s a pretty big window for topics, so I can’t imagine us all not being able to find some aspect of these words to write about.

If you need something more specific try one of these questions:

What makes you feel most sensual? Do you have trouble feeling sensual or sexual? What makes you feel most sexy or sexual? How does sensuality connect to your sexuality? What has been/would be your most ideal sexual encounter? Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? How? Are you anti-Valentine’s Day? What is your history with sexuality? How has your sexuality changed over time? How has your relationship with your body changed over time?

Take it in ANY direction that feels comfortable to you. I simply provide all the questions as a way to get you thinking IF you need the boost. There is NO OBLIGATION to use ANY of them! Use one, none, or all! Write more than one post! It is totally up to you!

If you have any other ideas related to the theme, please share them in the comments so others might be inspired.

Remember, you can link-up as many times as you want during the month! Feel free to double up on memes, too.

And remember to link-back to this post and use the badge! Read others’ posts, comment, share what you love on Twitter! This is all about introspection, sharing what we learn, and supporting one another as writers and people.

    1. I know how that goes. I actually plan out my involvement at the beginning of the month, and I only do a few memes per week. I also combine them a lot, which is easier when I plan ahead.

  1. Hi Bridget I’d like to participate in your meme this month. Do I just use the picture and link to you or is there a HTML code somewhere on your site for me to use? Thanks, Zara

    1. I just have the picture. Link up, place the badge somewhere in the post and either share a link back so your readers can see what others posted or link the image back. I normally just link the image back when I write for other’s memes.

I’m glad to have you join in!
