    I am not a submissive

Long before I knew what submission was, I was already seeking (subconsciously) to submit…to find someone worthy of submitting to. Though I didn’t really know this was my objective on a conscious level, I have years of evidence…years of being drawn to “not quite the right” powerful men…trying all types from arrogant to quietly strong and from kind to cruel…always on the look out for the just right mix of strength and benevolence. The kind of power that need not announce or prove itself. I looked for someone to take care of me, protect me, bend me and mold me sexually…even hurt me (in the right ways). When I first…

    This Hormonal Life

This week’s topic from Sex Bloggers for Mental Health is “Women and Hormones,” which made me giggle a bit, because it seems like the topic was written with me in mind. In fact, I went back through my archives, thinking I must have already written a post about this at some point. I’ve posted links to them at the bottom of this page. I’d start at the obvious beginning, but that seems…well…obvious. And don’t all of us have stories of our hormonal teens? My truly rocky hormone story began some years later…with an emergency hysterectomy after a complicated birth when I was 29. I didn’t experience what I’d consider to…

If I were taking an erotic photograph…

If I were taking an erotic photograph of you I’d ask you to relax, because your essence is what I find most appealing. As you melt across the bed, your legs spread wide, an easy smile on your lips, you exhale expectations and simply are…pliable, willing, open, strong – you don’t try to cover your shape, your cock rising, beckoning. It’s like your superpower…when you are at your greatest strength, able to bend me to your will without spoken word. If I were taking an erotic photograph of you, I would crawl between your thighs, the heady scent rising like waves of heat above summer asphalt, my camera zoomed in…ready. Your…

The State of Happy 1. Do you like where you live or do you wish you could move? Yes…for the most part. I love the region. The Pacific Northwest is extremely beautiful. I have instant access to the mountains and the ocean, as well as lakes and rivers. There’s a lot of opportunity to get out in nature, and I am surrounded by green year-round. Washington is an odd state politically, though, and I could do without that aspect. 2. No matter what life throws at me, I believe that I can deal with it. Agree or Disagree? Once again, I’d answer, Yes…for the most part. I’m a pretty strong…

    FPF Day 12 – Valentine

With the snow, I had quite a bit of extra time to simply try on some lingerie and take some photos. So, today, for FPF, you’re getting a collection with this cute little piece. I’m also including this in Lingerie is for Everyone this week…and since Thursday is Valentine’s Day, I figured this was the perfect set.   Happy (almost) Valentine’s Day!

    FPF Day 11 – Snow Day 2

It’s STILL snowing here in the great northwest. We did manage to get out of our neighborhood to go to the grocery store today, but most of the vehicles we saw on the road were four-wheel drive like ours. And then the snow started to fall heavy again, and we headed back to the house to hunker down for the next onslaught. School is cancelled again tomorrow…and it looks likely that we will be “snowed in” for the rest of the week. The news said we were likely to get up to 24 more inches! We already have close to 17 inches, and we’re only about 50-75 feet above sea…

    Hurt

Mom I walked out to the living room in my brand new back-to-school outfit…that one I’d searched for tirelessly while shopping with my father the day before. It was my first jean mini-skirt. Frosted and just above the knee, it buttoned all the way down the front. With it, I wore an off-the-shoulder white crop sweater and a tank top beneath, showing just one strap. My mother took one look at me and told me to go change. “I’m not sending my daughter to school looking like a whore.” I don’t think I stopped crying until well through first period English. Drew I was 16, lying in my boyfriend’s brother’s…

Snow Day! (Sinful Sunday & FPF Day 10)

We don’t get a lot of snow here in the far Pacific Northwest. But when we do, it has a habit of shutting pretty much everything down, since we don’t really have the infrastructure to deal with it. This past Friday, when schools were released early due to severe weather, it took me nearly 2 hours to get home, and along the way I passed at least 20 cars off in the ditches. Once I made it, I knew I wasn’t getting out for awhile. The forecast says snow will continue through this coming week. They’ve already cancelled school for Monday, and government offices are closed, too. Last time I…
